Gig Rowing at FSMBC

Gig Rowing at FSMBC an introduction

Welcome

FSMBC Rowing Division extends a warm welcome to all new members. Rowing offers an excellent opportunity to:

  • De-stress and enjoy the outdoors
  • Maintain physical fitness
  • Meet new friends
  • Develop new skills in teamwork and seamanship

Currently, FSMBC Rowing has one gig on loan from HRRC as we explore acquiring our own vessel. Rowing practice tends to be on a Sunday morning, just look in the Yearbook calendar for all dates and times. It often takes place around the same time as lugger racing as the tides are correct for both activities.

If you would like to get involved in gig rowing, or would just like to come along for to give it a try, just turn up for the next practice, speak to one of the rowing team, or give Carl a call to discuss.
